Summary:
This position is responsible for providing production with timely and accurate schedules, job packets, specs, and other reports as necessary.
This role also assists in identifying spec scheduling problems and inconsistencies.
Clerical tasks are also supported, including department transfers, Kronos support, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and reconcile production job packets daily.
Monitor and reconcile raw materials, ingredients, and packaging inventory levels.
Answer questions and assist in resolutions related to production transactions, product and recipe input, etc.
Process, analyze, and distribute various daily and weekly reports while meeting set deadlines.
Maintain production databases in Excel daily.
Maintain data within Kronos to aid in plant reporting.
Work with the scheduler to make any necessary adjustments, print, and distribute the daily production schedules.
Assist operations supervisors and act as departmental liaison as necessary.
Coordinate with operations to understand informational process flows to identify non-value-added activities to improve efficiency.
Creation and maintenance of paperwork filing system.
Assist co-workers as needed.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate degree preferred, or 3-5 years relevant experience related to the position in a manufacturing environment.
Must be self-motivated to complete tasks, work on projects, and work with cross-departmental teams.
Operations and planning experience preferred.
Able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
Competency with Microsoft Office applications.
Working knowledge of SAP.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
Must reside in the United States to be considered.
