Perishable Associate

*POSITION SUMMARY* Assist Perishable Manager in the operation of the Perishable department, including but not limited to, ordering, merchandising, rotating product, inventorying merchandise and profitability.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS* * Maintain Perishable case and keep rotated at all times.
* Responsible for overall appearance and eye appeal of sales floor.
* Assist in ordering and merchandising allowing for the shift in demand and seasonal availability.
* Assist Perishable Manager in ordering all Perishables.
* Assist Perishable Manager in keeping cooler dated, organized and properly rotated.
* Assist Perishable Manager in calling in credits within the allowed time.
* Assist Perishable Manager with the four-week period end Perishable inventory.
* Assist Perishable Manager with recording and maintaining accurate bookkeeping systems including but not limited to weekly and monthly Perishable purchases.
* Provide excellent customer service, including but not limited to friendly, courteous and prompt customer service.
* Other job related tasks as needed.
