Job Title: EHS Coordinator
Department: Environmental Health & Safety
Reports To: Safety & Training Director
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary Manages Environmental Health and Safety Program by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Develop, oversee, and continually improve company's EHS program Investigate safety incidents, accidents, and near misses Work with site managers, supervisors, hourly employees, and customers to ensure accuracy of reports, complete root cause analysis, and corrective actions are effective and complete Conduct site EHS audits Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards; OHSAS 18001 requirements; ISO 14001 requirements; and customer and company rules and policies Develop working relationship with the union and communicate on safety issues Attend site EHS committee meetings to share information and assist the site safety programs Produce and deliver both written and verbal reports Formulate and suggest work safety standards Conduct and document job hazard analyses Develop standardized work and pre-task safety plans Enforce all safety and environmental rules Research, plan, develop, and conduct required training programs for all employees Manage classroom environment – Keep control of class, defuse inflammatory comments and questions Ensures training records are maintained per company procedure.
Makes recommendations on training improvements.
