*Junior Accountant*
*This is an entry-level accounting position* responsible for compiling, reconciling, and/or analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the organization.
*Key Job Elements (Essential Functions Performed):*
* Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
* Maintain table of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
* Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
* Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
* Research accounting rules and regulations and make recommendations regarding company policy.
* Assist with external audits and tax preparation.
* Provide financial and analytical support to members of the senior management team.
* Assist in special projects as needed.
*Basic Qualifications (Education/Experience required):*
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
* Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
* CPA or CMA certification is a PLUS.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.
00 - $65,000.
